Universes Beyond is making its first non-Secret Lair product debut in the form of Commander pre-cons available in a regular and “Collectors” edition. Amazon listings show the increased price of the Collector’s Edition are due to the inclusion of foils and a pistol pointed at your head forcing you to buy it.

“I was browsing reddit, shitposting and minding my own business, when I saw a link to the Collector’s Edition Precons for Warhammer 40k. I’m not into commander but a lot of people were trolling about the price,” reddit user Lurkzader posted.

What Lurkzader stumbled upon was a link to a bundle of four Collector’s Edition Commander decks for about $550.00 on Amazon.

“People were going crazy over the price so I just had to click on the link. That’s when I heard another click and low voice instructing me to proceed to check out.”

The Amazon listing currently lists the product as having 100 foiled cards and a pistol to coerce those who learn of its existence into purchasing it.

“I did what I had to do. It’s preordered. I’m not sure what the big deal was. The decks were about $130 each, which, if you think about it isn’t crazy for 100 foil cards. I figure I’m going to spend another few hundred each upgrading them, so I’ll probably just sell a couple of them since they’ll probably go for more individually.”

When asked for comment, WotC stated that the added value of knowing you’re going to live to see another day cannot be given a price tag, since they removed MSRP.

omg. dry erase cards. Of all the dry erase cards these are the driest. “How dry are they?” As dry as my wife after hearing me talk about how great MTG is. Sahara dry.
